I've made This mistake twice on my Vestro 1500 -

The system tray has two wireless icons, one is for the Network Utility (icon = 4 strength bars), the other is (I think) for the Wireless Status (icon = dish antenna). If I right click on the Wireless Status icon, and then click disable, both icons disappear from the system tray, and the only way I've been able to get them back is by doing a system restore. Is there another way to fix it?

umm, they disappear because you disable the connection.. to get the icons back, enable the connection in the "managing your network connections" area.

    Where is that?

    Fast Forward Several Hours....
Maybe you mean the Network Connections icon in the Control Panel. If I go in there and click on Wireless Network Connection, it re-enables it and life is good again :) I'm going to make that a short cut on my desktop next to the Dell Wireless icon.
