    I ordered my daughter a flamingo pink 1420 on July 8, 2007. It has been delayed three times with the newest ship date being 8/28/07. They have offered me a $100 credit and free next day shipping. My daughter leaves for college on August 24, 2007 and I am hoping it will ship early. I have e-mailed Dell recently about the pink tops but to date they have not returned my e-mail. Has anyone received a pink laptop from Dell?

    According to Dell.com, both pink and green have a 16 day delay.

    There may be hope for the spring green, but not the flamingo pink. Though there's been delays on random parts, so who knows if this is a sign of good comings for us 1420 spring greeners... :confused2:

    It's funny because not many people on the forums here have ordered Pink, which must be a sign that Pink is not in huge demand, yet it still has one of the longest delays. The GF is getting antsy about why her notebook hasn't shipped yet :D
