    Hi frnz,

i have a dell inspiron 1520, 7200rpm hdd, 2 GB ram(667),4 mb cache and geforce 8600 GT. i came across flash cache,ACHI model and ATA model. Currently ATA model is on. do u think i should turn ACHI on. Will it boost performance? I am currently running 32 bit windows 7.

You probably won't see any increase in performance. There isn't really any reason you shouldn't turn it on, though... it shouldn't mess up a 7 install in the same way it could mess up an XP install.
