    My battery charging indicator on my E 1505 wont stop flashing orange even though the battery is charged, anyone have any ideas on how to make it stop? The battery checks out fine. It does stay at 99% though, for some reason it wont go to 100% the battery is new. I hardly ever use the laptop on battery power.

    if you mean that you leave the battery in the laptop while the AC charger is plugged in i think you can take the batter out. idk why it keeps flashing tho

    Anyone else have any ideas why this light wont quit flashing? I noticed earlier the power monitor thng said there was no battery detected when it was installed.

    Your Battery is most likely dead. Maybe a dead cell....

    How long, and can you run the laptop on just the battery without it being plugged into the charger?

    I can use the laptop on battery almost for 3-4 hours if just browsing and stuff, and doing some photo editing.
