I have had my studio15 for just over 2months now and all of a sudden the screen wont stay in one place without falling down and closing or right back, its seen alot of use, being a student, but I have made sure nothing happens to it and treat it with care now this happens, Im quite disappointed.

Have you heard of this before? Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

I've never heard of that happening before so quickly, sure after a year or three, but never 2 months.

With a normal hinge it can often be tighened, but I don't know how the barrel-type hinge on the Studio would work.

You can remove the screen and try to tighten the hinges. However, they should not have gotten loose this quickly. I'd give them a call and have them look at it if you don't want to try it out yourself.

You can have dell come and fix it if you have that warranty. If you have return to depot then you can either try and fix it yourself or send it in to be fixed.
