I think there might already be a thread about this, but I wasn't able to find it anywhere...

I'm presuming the little blue Fn key activates the little secondary commands on some of the keys, which are printed in the same blue. The one in particular I wanted to use was the increase/decrease brightness, but it doesn't seem to do anything when I do it. Is there something in particular I need to install, or to be running, for my Fn key to work? Could it be maybe I startup process I disabled?

Did you uninstall Dell Quickset? You might need that installed for the keys to work. I'm not sure though as I haven't gotten mine yet.

without quickset fn still works with changing brightness, etc, but it won't work with the F# keys (sleeping, battery, CRT/LCD).
