    To me that is good news that XPS will be staying. Mainly because I plan on getting a m1330.

    since the new inspiron line up coming out closely resembles the xps lineup . I would like to see what new xps latptops dell would bring out

    Sounds to me like it was a publicity stunt.
    But the M1330 and M1530 wouldn't have been affected anyway, since they're not considered "gaming" laptops so much as "performance" laptops.
    I wonder how many people bought M1730's (and desktop gaming XPS) thinking they weren't going to be available much longer.
