    I purchased a dell inspiron 14r n 4110 laptop?

    In that windows 7 is pre installed.

    i would like to change it and install windows xp service pack 2.

    is it possible or not?

    if possible how to install and give the supported drivers for xp.

    plz help me.

    Sure it's possible. Just a matter of how bad you want it... you'll just have to hunt down the XP drivers for each individual component as Dell certainly isn't going to give those to you. In some cases the 7 drivers may "just work".

    you'll need an install disc and a license. Drivers may be a bit difficult for some of the hardware.

    *why* would you want to downgrade. I mean, we're not talking Vista, we're talking Windows 7, which by far has been the best Windows OS I have ever used. Most everything just....works, especially older hardware support is quite good.

    If you need to run something in WinXP, try either running in compatability mode, or just install VirtualBox and an XP VM, or even Microsoft's XPmode...
