I spoke with Dell Customer Support, and they said that the reason why our orders were so F'ed up was because the Norton Antivirus component in the order (which you don't have the option to say NO to), was coming up as "Part number not found" in their order system. Why this was not found earlier, I have no idea. I complained repeatedly over the last 2 weeks and they say they only discovered it this morning.

As a result, all our orders are being cancelled and recreated with a new order number, which we can get by calling later today. (I complained enough that they are going to call me back). She could not tell me whether or not this will delay all our orders either... I certainly hope it doesn't, I need this thing ASAP.

Bah Im just cancelling my order, Im not giving any money to a company that dont care about its customers.

Ive called them like 10 times in the last week, only had problems, nobody could help me, and I cannot wait 2 more months to get my laptop.

I didnt even have norton in my order and they cancelled it. I would appreciate if they stopped lieing to their customers. When I called them yesterday they were laughing at me and lieing to me...

    Goodbye dell

I was contacted yesterday about this issue as well as the discontinuation of the 7800 video card, which I had ordered. My new order went into production 3 hours after I hung up with a Geforce 7900 at their expence. They assured me that it will be shipped this week. Let's hope!
