Well Im getting my 1520 today and I wanted to add some more RAM to it. Does anybody know which slot is which? I know one is under the battery and one is under the keyboard. For example... I have 2 gb in it now, I wanted to get a 2 gb stick and put that in place of a 1gb. Would I use the one under the battery or the one under ther keyboard?

I don't have a laptop yet but if it has 2GB in it now, there will be 1GB in each slot(under the keyboard and on the bottom)so if you wanted to changed one of those to 2GB it wouldn't matter which one you switch it with.

But I think its better to change memory in pairs.

It's dual-channel memory. If you change one of the 1GB DIMMS to a 2GB, then it won't be able to run in dual-channel mode any more. You have to change them in pairs to maintain dual-channel, and preferably matched pairs (sold as a dual-channel kit).

Your RAM will be 2 x 1GB unless you did some serious changing around...regardless, it's recommended by the entire computer community to only replace RAM in pairs.
