Just installed it on my XPS-M1330, works perfectly
fully WHQL and included is the original Dell inf, so no missing out on features or BSOD's because of modded infs.

    All on http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/

These are the very latest mobile drivers on the planet!

    Cool.
So what, exactly, do the "very latest mobile drivers on the planet" bring wth them? Have you made any benchmarks yet? Are 3D-rendered applications artifact-free?

Thx for any observations you may have for us, as one of the first to install the "very latest mobile drivers on the planet" :D

I would think it's ok for us since it's released by Dell... wouldn't that make it work on Dell systems without modded infs?

Newest driver from Dell support is 156.61 for M1730 but is working on all nvidia laptops. Another new driver will be relised with new 15.4" xps systems in november.

Well I was wrong... it doesn't install so I guess I am waiting until the modded infs come up.

EDIT NM found the original inf packs...

I just installed and everything works fine. The performance base index does not improve from the previous version. It's at 4.1.

There is a zip file in the driver called "original_inf(s).zip
Extract the Nvdispd.inf to the install directory then everything works WITHOUT any modded infs.

Traveller, don't shoot the messenger here, just try for yourself.

    Guys RTFM

Driverwise it really depends what you are looking for: full support of mobility features and stabillity? go for 156.xx

Maximum performance, powerusage and miss out on mobility features? go for 167.xx
There is no "better" driver, it all depends on what you are looking for....
