I thought there was no tax and S&H on the Vostros. Am I right? I wouldn't think so, I saw on the website that tax and S&H would be filled in after I registered or something.

S&H varies but usually its free(almost everything Dell sells has free shipping, often stated as a 'special' sale).

As for tax, I don't think thats even legal unless they pay for your taxes.

So I live in Detroit, and there wouldn't be any extra fees besides that of the unit?

They tax to california, and shipping and handling is usually free however if u add two systems to the same order sometimes shipping is waived even u remove one so then u gotta remove them both and start over. Good luck!

Actually, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you pay tax when buying form Dell because they have mall booths in every state.

soo...no answer? I'm going to Toronto Weds. and the deal that I'm using expires Thurs., and like I've said before this is my 15th b-day gift from my mom...so cost is an issue. (No More than $650) So would you anticipate that it would be more?

It'll tell you the total after tax and shipping before you actually have to pay for it.
