    Forgot Dell Password

    I'm so worried. I forgot my Dell Latitude D520 windows password. is there any way I can bypass it or is there any universal code I can use to solve this

    I sent you a PM as I'm not sure what the rules are regarding discussing this sort of topic. I feel your pain tho. I'm always dealing with relatives who've forgotten the admin password they setup when they installed windows.

    Is this a Microsoft Account or a local account login password. I don't believe this forum condones explaining how to mount an HDD for password removals, however I can tell you that Geek Squad can quickly and safely remove any local account passwords for $39.99 in less than 5 minutes. A restore is always the last resort IMO.

    As for a Microsoft Account password, you're on your own there. That has to be done via Microsoft's account recovery.

    At least if you have Windows 10 and everything is backed up, you should be able to re install pretty easily.

    Otherwise per the rules we cannot discuss this topic.
