Hi All, I just found out there is a "Dell Kiosk" in the local mall nearby where I live, and I can actually check out a 1520 (which is what I want), and a 1720 they have. I happened on this from someone I was talking to. I just want to go there and handle the 1520.

When I called the Dell Kiosk to see exactly where they were located in the mall (I'm not a *mall* person), they indicated that even though I just wanted to check out the 1520, they could help me with ordering it, and perhaps even beat any deals I currently have right now.

I basically just want to go and check out the 1520, as, I plan on ordering by phone today or tomorrow. But finding out this, I also wanted to check and see if anyone on this board, has ever ordered thru the kiosk, and if indeed I can get the same great deals vs. what I can get w/coupons I can use online or via phone?

If anyone can give usual input that would be great! ;)

I visited a Dell Kiosk at a mall near where I live a couple weeks ago, but I found that the online $425 off coupon for the Inspiron 1520 was better than anything the guy at the kiosk could offer me. That coupon has already expired, so I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a better deal from the kiosk than by phone or online.

i think ordering online/phone is much better than ordering in a kiosk.

print out a copy of what you could exactly order online or over the phone. see if they can beat the price or throw in extra accessories that you would like. they often times can to make the sale. just be persistent that you will go where ever the best deal is and ask what they can offer you to get your purchase from them.
