We have all read that this new dell will have a 17" widescreen but and probably be released next month. But here is some info i found on a different forum the info has been copy and pasted. This info is getting me pretty excited about 9200

"No pictures but some other features about the 9200 I forgot to mention:

Intel Pentium M processor so notebooks is more mobile than 9100
    Radeon 9700 Mobile Video card
    External DVI and VGA
4 USB 2.0 ports (2 on the left side, 2 in the back)
    Backlit multimedia keys
    Larger touchpad
dual band wireless for 2.4 and 5.0 GHZ
    Bluetooth wireless
    Integrated subwoofer"

Anyone have thought on these specs. I have a feeling this thing is gonna carry a pretty hefty price tag.

Those same specs were actually posted in the Dell.com forums and taken down. A contact at Dell says they are not right.

I'm skeptical on the Pentium M processor, it makes little sense to have a 17" widescreen notebook come with Pentium M instead of a Pentium IV.

while i can see what abaxter is saying i am hoping that harihasler is right. if the 9200 packs a dothan processor i think it could be pretty sweet. I may just jump on a loaded 9100 now though because i highly doubt i will be able to afford the 9200

I'd say a pentium M makes perfect sense. The 17" screen already draws much power, so if you want a laptop that last longer than half an hour on battery, then you have to reduce the power of the processor.

The Gateway NX850X and the Fujitsu N series 17 inchers both have Pentium M 740.
