This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     If your lappy comes with a Seagate, you can download and use DiskWizard free! Sorry if you already knew...

    Maxtor comes with software too like that. But maxtor==seagate...

    Yes it is. Diskwizard(Maxtor calls it MaxBlast 5 I believe )is the free version of Acronis True Image but its only works with seagate and Maxtor hdds.


    There are free programs for backuping up/imaging your hdd mentioned in the best free programs for windows.
