Has anyone who lives in Latin America or the Caribbean who has the XPS M1530 tell me if they received any of the accessories or extras that the website description of the laptop say are standard?

Well, i saw your other post our laptops went into production on the same day. I read on wikipedia that 95% of Dell's laptops are from malaysia. Do you know which factory is coming from? Because I believe that we share the same factory. I live in Barbados.

Nope, not really, any attempt to gather more information about the laptop or the process was unsuccessful with the two DELL CSRs I have spoken to. So far the only thing I know is that "the laptop is on schedule" and that "it should be shipped earlier next week".
I am too wishing that it does include all the "extras", since after ordering mine I have been watching youtube videos about this model and apparently we should be getting a lot of nice stuff along with the laptop.
Then again, this is Mexico so I can expect anything.

Well, I saw a video from a guy in Argentina that got all the extras, that was the first video I saw. But from what I have read from the guys in the US it is supposed to listed in the order status summary and I havent seen any of the extras on my summary. But I may have misunderstood them. Plus, they get the step by step movement, all we are told is either order processing or in production.
Well, mine is scheduled to be shipped tomorrow, I will let you know if it is. -
Hi, just thought would let you know that my laptop got delayed. The estimated shipping date is 06/05/08 and delivery should be between the 13th and 19th. I will contact them today to see what the delay is about

My laptop status remains the same: "In production". I haven´t received any emails or messages from DELL about delays or anything.
I am hoping to get it next week. -
Well, I spoke to cs thru chat this morning and i was told that they have an estimated shipping date at the end of this week and to check back then. 10 business days would actually be Friday. I guess, they just overestimated the delay so that it would give them some wiggle room. I was also told that my laptop is going to be shipping with all the accessories that were advertised on the description page.

Just an update:
Did you order a 9 cell battery? I spoke to CS this morning and my laptop is delayed because they are waiting on the battery but it is scheduled to arrive on Monday so my laptop should be shipped between Monday and Wednesday. -
No, I ordered the 6 cell... my laptop now shows as "shipped" (I guess, it appears in spanish as "enviado"), however after speaking on the phone with a CSR she told me that she has no detail about whether the laptop has already finished "production" and has already been "sent" or what... so she told me that she was going to write an email to the production department and then write me back with more information.
Right now I just hope that I DO get the laptop and that everything works fine (I can´t even begin to imagine the amount of problems and time it would require to have some part changed or fixes....)

I received my laptop today, got all the accessories: cleaning cloth, earphones, remote control and leather DVD case.
The laptop is a dream and I hope you get yours soon.
