    Hello Everyone,

I have finally run in to a problem I have been trying to get around for the last 5 hours.

There is no Stereo Mix or ''what you hear'' function for the soundcards in Dell Computers. That means I am forced to record with a mic..

Has anyone gotten around to installing a driver that enables Stereo Mix?

    Frustrated Dell user,

    Brian

    Try this Mate

Go to Sound in the Control Panel's classic view Select the Recording tab and right-click any of the devices listed. Check "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices". Stereo Mix should show up. Set it as default.

There was a thread about this recently. Try searching stereo mix?
