Okay so let me lay it out for you guys what my problem really is:
I placed an order for a XPS M1530 under the following configuration:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache)
Tuxedo Black
3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
15.4 inch LED LCD (1440x900) & 2.0 M
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8600M GT
Windows Vista™ Premium
Hard Drive 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card
3 Year Return to Depot Service and Technical Support
Congratulations! You have qualified for a 20% savings with your online
purchase. - $367.80
Subtotal: $1,471.20
Shipping and Handling: $0.00
PST: $117.69
GST/HST: $73.56
Total: $1,662.46 (note: price is in Canadian)
Okay so the problem is right there with the order. I added the integrated 2.0 bluetooth but it didn't show up on my final order.
My laptop won't ship until the 4th of August so today I called Dell.
I got on with a rep who told me there is nothing he can do other than forcing me to cancel my order and replace it with another (same configuration).
I DEMANDED that my 20% discount would be kept, but he kept telling me that TECHNICALLY he cant and he just kept repeating it and I was getting pissed off. I want the XPS M1530, but I don't want to give up my discount.
I was going to ask for a manager but my laptop battery ran out (I'm in Vienna, calling using Skype).
So what can I do? Would asking for a manager help? Should I tell them that they are going to lose a $1600 customer for a company that isn't doing well?
I even said that I'm willing to accept a delay for my order but he just kept saying he can't. He was speaking with a very broken English accent and was struggling to put together sentences which makes me believe he was new and nervous.
Its just a freaking internal bluetooth that will only cost me an extra $20. I don't want to deal with the hassle of having to use a USB bluetooth dongle.

I believe you can but an internal card on e-bay and install it yourself...if I understand correctly, you just slide the puppy in (underneath your keyboard somewhere), put the keyboard back, and voila, good as new.

You can do that, Actually the bluetooth device on ebay is around 20 bucks, and the connector is located underneath the volume buttons. Its really easy to install

Really?
Hmm thanks for letting me know about that. I will definitely use that as my option for bluetooth
You guys have saved me from a 30 minute call with Dell Reps
Pos rep for you guys -

You can use the Dell service guide located in this thread to help you install it

Yeah its only $20. As long as Dell didn't charge you for it despite you having added it. Here is a direct link to the service manual itself:
