This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Is there anyway to use the FN+F1 keys for Sleep instead of hibernate?
    You can't add/change FN+ anything shortcuts, right?
    only keys working with FN are f1, f3, f8 and f10 for opening the disk tray?

    I have a vostro 1500 btw

    There are hotkey programs that you can add more shortcuts. For the sleep button action, you can change it in power options in Control panel.

    Fn + Esc is for sleep mode, Fn + F1 is for hibernate. at least that is how it was set up on mine when i received it.
