    Funny order status--is this normal?

    Hi, guys!

    I ordered an XPS 15 notebook on the 2nd, and for the past couple of days, the order status system on Dell's website has been making me chuckle.

    Home page -> My Account shows "Delivery Preparation".

    Clicking on purchase ID shows "In Production".

    Clicking on order number shows "In Production".

    Clicking on purchase ID from that page shows "Shipped".

    Clicking on order number from that page shows "Finalizing Production".

    Calling the automated number tells me that it shipped on May 12, 2011 and is scheduled to arrive on May 17, 2011. It's only the 5th of May today!

    I thought it was pretty funny--is this normal behavior for Dell's US website?

    Well, yeah, you could look at it that way. On the bright side, it shipped today!
