I have called dell about 100 times and have gotten a hundred different stories in effert to get a upgrade on my xps 1730 from 8700 to 8800 gpu .Well vented on the rep toaay.I told him how I was originally going to return my laptop in the first 30 days .Well the rep at the time told me to keep the laptop and when the upgrade came I would get the card for a small fee no more than 200 dollors .I kept the xps 1730 and when I called back when the 8800 came out .It turns out the rep did not note my acounnt. Well today told rep how unhappy I was told him of the runnaround I have gotten talking to dell .Well he said qoute "I wll make sure I get you that card" .He said we would transfer me to ace support .Well I was placed on hold an then transfered to Ace support .Well I told him my story again .After another long time on hold he came back and said would get me a solution. While I was on hold wife picks this time to unplug the phone and fax something. Well I get disconnected after about 2 hours on phone and maybe being close to getting my card .When I call back dell is closed. All I have is a name Leon in customer service.
So I have 2 questions one has anyone heard of ace support, and 2 anyone have a good divorce lawyer . ;)

I too have been transfered around by dell. I cannot remember if it was called ACE support or something similar, but I do remember a higher level of so called premium techs that I got to talk to for free when the standard guy got frustrated. It does sound legit because one of my friends did get a 7900 out of ema while back. GL
