    If you go to the 1530 configurator, all 3 versions of Vista will delay your ship date... Great :) It's only a one day delay, but a delay nonetheless.

    Just when Dell thought to cover all their bases with parts that are currently available to have no delay fiasco al la 1330, microsoft goes and cuts supply of vista licenses and media!!!

    It's not Microsoft, but Dell's suppliers.

    I believe Dell (and any other large corporation) has direct contracts with microsofts OEM division. They deal directly with them via volume licensing.

    So, yes, it is microsoft....

    I saw that and found it amusing. No way around a delay. If they gave us the option to ship without an OS then we'd be set.
