Currently Dell is selling G7 with i7, 16GB Ram, 1060MaxQ, 128SSD+1 TB (5400 RPM) and 4K display for $1,399.99.
Alienware 15 with i7, 16GB Ram, 1060 OC, 128 M.2SSD+1 TB (7200 RPM), 1080p IPS, and larger battery for $1,449.99.
Is the Alienware a better buy for only $50 more, or does the 4K on the G7 make up for slower storage, graphics, and smaller battery?

What i7 in the AW?
The UHD in the new Dell G series is great but Windows scaling is decent at best. It's getting better.
I have so much more to say but let's start with that. -
Also, below special deal will be available on Monday, so I’m probably going with that.

If you go through slickdeals you may be able to get a $200 mail in rebate on it:
https://slickdeals.net/f/11630607-s...99-150-off-799-99-and-200-off-999-99-free-s-h
I don't have any experience with slickdeals rebates, but I wouldn't bet money on getting it, but if you do that's a tremendous value. -
