I was wondering which temperature monitor out of these four are the most reliable: HWmonitor, Rivatuner, GPU-Z and Everest? I've used all four to monitor my GPU temp on my Vostro 1400 but I get different readings. HWmonitor and GPU-Z reported my GPU to be at 47 on idle whereas, Rivatuner and Everest reported 57 degrees roughly 10 degrees higher. Which program am I suppose to believe?

    Thanks

thats weird...i use HWmonitor and rivatuner, and they both display the same temps for my GPU.

i use HWmonitor for general monitoring and rivatuner for its static server feature. the static server helps me monitor FPS and GPU temps, while i'm gamin in full screen mode.

I think you can believe HWmonitor... Its pretty reliable and been widely accepted as a good temp monitoring utility.

So I tested the programs on another computer and it seems that Rivatuner and HWmonitor reports the same thing. Anyone that has a vostro 1400 have the same problem?
