    Game Problem - vista

    I have downloaded, and installed two demos to my new lappy. Neither will load the game, I get this error on both:

    This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

    Any ideas?

    I had that same error with 3Dmark06.
    Basically, I ignored installing Directx 9.0c during the installation and that was the cause of the error.
    But if u allow the installation of the Directx 9.0c, it will fix the error.
