    Gaming/Development Laptop - Opinions

I am in the UK, and looking to purchase a new laptop for predominately gaming (e.g. Crysis 2 , Rift on relatively high settings), and Unity Development.

My budget is around £1600 or thereabouts.

I have priced up 2 Dell laptops, and am wondering which of these would be my best bet.

    DELL XPS 17
CPU: Intel Core I7-2820QM (2.20Ghz with TurboBoost 2.0 up to 3.30Ghz)
    LCD: 17.3 FHD 3D WLED (1920x1080)
    RAM: 6Gb
    GFX: 3Gb Nvidia GT555M
    HDD: 640Gb

    DELL M17Xr3
    CPU: Intel Core I7-2630QM (2.00Ghz 4 Core)
    LCD: 17.3 FHD 3D WLED (1920x1080)
    RAM: 4Gb
    GFX: 1Gb GDDR5 Amd Radeon HD 6870M
    HDD: 320Gb

Any other alternatives would be appreciated, as long as I can get them from somewhere reputable here and within my budget.

    Many thanks in advance, Ian.

Buy from Hidevolution. Save's alot of money. Standerd M17x R3 3D comes to 1849 dollar ex. shipping and tax.

Rather go for the Alienware then the XPS for gaming. Its perfect for upgrading yourself. Think about a 2920EM CPU, 32GB RAM and whatnot GPU they will offer in the future.

Mind you that you connot have a 3D 120 Hz screen with the AMD cards only with the Nvidia one's.
