On cnet.com's coverage of CES 2008 they demo'ed the new Alienware m15x it has Nvidia's GeForce 8800 video card--the first 15-inch laptop to offer it...

The m15x should be available later in January, running from around $1,500 to more than $5,000, depending on configuration.

Is the XPS M1530 next to get this option?

No the current chassis can not support the 8800GTX/GTS Mobile cards. Mabey a new model, but you have to remember Alienware is owned by Dell.

Well the M1530 is not classfied by dell as a gaming xps notebook. So, no, it's not likely that it will get the 8800 gtx

yeah, alienware gets the top tech first, which quickly makes its way into the gaming XPSs, and might find it's way into the others in a while. But certainly not until Q3 or Q4 of this year...
