i have an Inspiron 8500 with the NVIDIA GeForce4 4200 Go graphics card.

question is: will the laptopvideo2go 169.09 drivers work for it on my Win XP system?

or will they just kill my system?

Yes. But no amount of new graphics drivers will help you squeeze more performance out of a GF4. They stopped tinkering around with those around 5 years ago...
