For anyone getting a dell e1505, I highly recommend getting the wsxga screen option. I just received my new dell with the wxga and I'm not happy. Videos don't look very good at all. They look grainy and just kind of washed out or something. The reason I got the wxga is because I don't have very good eyesight and I was worried about small text during web browsing. But this probably would have been taken care of by adjusting the dpi. I wonder if I should exchange it?

Anyway, just thought I'd share that. Other than that, this laptop is perfect! It's blazingly fast and everything works great. I got the Intel pro wireless and it works so well with my rangemax. I can get a super fast signal all over my two story house. I highly recommend this laptop, but just get the best screen option.

It is really personal preference, I ordered a wxga e1505 and found the text to be fine, but now I'm on a 14.1 sxga+ screen and loving the extra real estate.

If there is a graininess issue, give Dell a call and have them either authorize a return or have a tech come out to switch the panel. LCDs can vary quite a bit.

Enjoy the laptop, it's quite the computer :)

i have a dell e1505 with the wsxga screen and it really does make a difference, if you really have the need for a higher resolution screen that is if you work with computer graphics then you should exchange it! because for a 15.4" screen the resolution at wsxga it really looks superb!
