I will be getting a Dell XPS M1210 through a School Trade. I Do like my HP NX9420 but theres reasons why it wasnt a right fit for me. one of the reasons are battery life is extremely short approx 45 mins at most. Second reason is Its too big to put on the desk and third its very heavy to lug around on a daily basis. So this is what i will be trading and what i will be receiving

    Trade Laptop
    HP/Compaq NX9420
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16Ghz 4MB L2 Cache
    1GB Ram 667MHZ
    DVD-RW
    17.0 WSXGA+ Screen
    120GB Hard Drive
Nvidia Quadro NVS510M 256MB (same as Nvidia Geforce 7900GTX)
    Wifi /Bluetooth

    Receiving
    Dell XPS M1210
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16GHz 4mb L2 Cache
    1GB Ram 667MHZ
    DVD-RW
    12.1 WXGA
    120GB Hard Drive
    Nvidia Geforce 7400
    WiFi /Bluetooth

I Hope i wont regret this trade

I think it is a good trade because Dell XPS M1210 is a nice computer. It is also durable where you can bring it with you anywhere you want due to its light weight. Make sure the screen is not mess up and it is in good shape before trading. Good luck!!

Hi, I know it's too late too post my reply, but I have the same laptop as yours and my battery life is about 4 hours with dim display and 2:30 hours at full power.
    Your battery is dead man.
