    I am getting a new hard drive for my dell inspiron 1520 and i am planing to get a 500gb one. I found this on newegg and wondering if it will work or if I should order it from somewhere else.

    It will work. And there's no reason not to order from Newegg, though it's possible to find eBay items going for less.

    I've used NewEgg for work and for some of my stuff at home and I've never had any problems with them. I tend to use either them or TigerDirect.

    If you use live.com/cashback you will get some additional cash back on your purchase. I love Newegg and spend too much money there.
