So i was playing around and in my movie folder i right clicked on a movie and went to properties. Under General and attributes, you can choose to make the file hidden which i did because I was curious. The file then disappeared and now I am unsure how to get it back. Any suggestions? searching for the file does not work.

You have to click "alt" in order to bring up the "tools" options.
From there, same as XP: "folder options">view>Show hidden files and folders
