    Getting dell to ship out your order sooner...

    Ok so I've ordered a machine and its built and ready but its stuck in the boxing stage for the past few days. I really need this machine since my laptop broke down and I've been waiting for this machine forever. So is there a way to get Dell to ship out this order sooner? I called them but they said theres nothing they can do to speed up the process...

    if it's in boxing stage, that will take a few days. It should ship soon. Boxing included packaging it up in Malaysia or wherever it was made, and bringing it to the states or wherever you are, and then to the distribution center where it will change hands to the carrier. Once the carrier has accepted it, the status will change to Shipped.

    i know that but how much time does it take to put a bunch of laptops on a plane and get them here? :( Man I'm just holding my breath. I'm a grad student and I need this machine soon!

    Wooo hooo!!! It shipped today! :D The tracking info is unavailable but I'll be getting it on monday mostly :D yey!! man it would've been great if I would've got it today so I'd have the whole weekend :)
