That's the decision I got to make, what looks better and will not be dull in the long run?

Also, any coupons/deals for us Canadians?

I love the red... and Dell always uses Red for their advertising.. which has to mean something...

Hi! For me, I went w/the "red" over the black, I am absolutely happy w/the color!!! It's a very "sleek" looking lappy & presents itself well!!! That's just my opinion!! :)

Comes down to taste... you can't really ask a forum about what colour we think you should choose. Too many people and different tastes.. you choose what you prefer the best :p

I've gone for the black though :p

My take would be for the red. I went to a Dell kiosk wen they were still open and saw all of the colors. Black is the most sedate and possibly the most "professional" color but it also picks up a lot of finger prints. The red is less finger print prone and is a nice "crimson" shade of red. It is not loud or flashy.

Good point cosrocket. Also, when I try to configure the 1530 in black, there are some hardware options that I can't get it with it..but I can get it with the Product RED.

So, any coupons for this XPS?

Here in Canada theres something strange about the SKUs for the red 1530s. When I put together my build on the site, the RED ended up being cheaper than when I put together a black model. The fact they throw in the Vista Ultimate (64 bit support) for free doesn't hurt either. Sure beats having to pay to upgrade on the black.

    So I bought a RED one =D
