I thought I had a good deal. $400+ 8% EPP discount. I even called a REP to see if they could do any better, was told I already had the best possible deal.... LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE!

I just found another EPP deal. $669 + 12% epp! The same config PLUS I would 3GB RAM and my choice of either 160mb 7200 rpm hd or 250mb 5400rpm hd. So I would pay 80 dollars more but I get 3gb(instead of 1GB!) of ram and a 160 7200rpm HD(Instead of 120 5200rpm HD)!

    ......GGGGGGGRRRRRAAAAGAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I Gotta GO PUNCH SOME HOLES IN MY WALLS!!!!

Honestly you're this mad? It happens you can't always get the best deal. You should be glad to get any discount. Did you ask on this forum regarding other promotions?

The best deal is subjective to the person as well. What i think is a good deal for myself might not be a good deal for someone else as we all need different components in our machines.

chill out, I only got $400 off my 1520, and on top of that had no idea that the 1530 was coming out just a few months after I bougth it. If I had know I would have waited. Still, if mine is not a reason to get angry, then yours shouldn't be either.

LOL....I'm really not that mad, I'm only kidding! Just annoyed that the Sales rep told me that was the best deal out there, when it wasn't. I know its really not that big of a deal. Before I cancel, I'll call a CSR and see if they will upgrade my hardrive and apply the additional 4%. If not, then I'll cancel my first order and reorder with the new one. Although I really don't need the 3GB of ram, I guess I could try to sell it.

keep in mind, $80 extra for 2GB's more ram isnt really a good deal, an after-market upgrade would be cheaper. so your only really getting a faster HD, and is that worth all the fuss?

I think 83 dollar for the upgrade from 120 5400rpm to a 160 7200 rpm is worth it...

That is a better deal. From 120GB (5400RPM) to a 160GB (7200RPM) is alot better. Also, you'll be getting a 2GB upgrade. If you can somehow, cancel the order or something to get the better deal.. do it.

mommy mommy they didn't give me the laptop for free, I'm mad!

God what's wrong with you people? Just cancel the order and go with the new one if you really want it, no need to make it into a big issue imho. You were lucky to find a better deal in time :)

I was joking about being mad. Maybe alittle annoyed at the sales rep, but thats it. I wasn't making a big deal about it. Unlike some, my "mommy" doesn't just give me Laptops for being a good 'LiL boy. I work very hard for what I have, so nothing wrong with trying to get the best deal possible. If you realy think there's something wrong with the people who post here....maybe you should find another forum to troll...

Maybe when you grow up, you'll realize what it is to work for things you want...

I can see why MAC5217 is getting annoyed - I would be..

Imagine if you worked for $7 an hour for example, $80 is a lot of work hours.. I'd be spazzing too. OR if you had a well paying job that was just brutally hard to do.

Either way, money doesn't fall from the sky.. lol

Want my opinion? Call different reps and see what they tell ya and what deals and solutions they give you. You'll be surprised how vast things can differ between the reps.

Depends how creative the one you're dealing with is on finding solutions and going after them for you.
