Hey all,
Title pretty much says it all. I'm trying to create a Ghost image backup of my Studio 15, but regardless of which bootable CD I use (regular ghost bootable, hiren bootcd, etc) none of them can find an appropriate cdrom driver to get Ghost (or Acronis TrueImage or anything else) loaded so I can make my backup.
Anybody found a driver and/or bootable CD that can work with the slotloading drive?

Never mind, got a dos-based ghost boot disk that works. The cdrom driver still doesn't work but it isn't needed.

Actually, I'd still be interested in finding a DOS-based cdrom driver that will work with this thing, so that I can use these bootable CD utility discs in the future. They're invaluable if you ever have an OS failure or suspect that your drive is failing and you need to rescue some files. The problem occurs because although the notebook can read the boot sectors (and any program stored in it), it needs a working cdrom driver to access the CDFS file system where the rest of the data is stored.
