    :)

Come on guys.. Dell Studio 15 is a wonderful piece of machine.. give it some LOVE!

and your world will be a better place :D

i know it.. since i gave mine a huge amount of LOVE... and now i'm happier than ever...

give it some hatred, and all u will notice is a piece of crappy laptop

keyboard with flexes (not as bad as you think it is)... bad speakers (although i thought they sounded OK) aren't exactly BIG problems..

unresponsive media controls.. well.. that is something which could be solved b y contacting dell and asking them to fix it..

there are MUCH BIGGER PROBLEMS out there (which do not involve the Studio line so far) such as the faulty Nvidia GPUs...

So do not worry bout your Studio 15, give it a chance and the world will be a better place :)

I might love mine a little more if I had received it in 5 days instead of sitting here on my dad's old desktop checking my order status every day...

you know what, take this chance to complain it to them, i've heard some ppl in my country who got a free printer because their laptop came later than the estimated date...

maybe you could get a free upgrade of warranty or RAM who knows :D

then again, i heard there's something wrong with the factory that's manufacturing batteries for notebooks in US...

all i'm saying is, there's no reason for them to hold up your laptop for nothing :)

    cheers

When I ordered my studio 15 on Wednesday, July 30th, the guy from dell who I was ordering it from said that the factory that had been making the larger batteries BURNED DOWN and that the larger batteries where twice the price of what they should have been because of this.

I saw the Studio 15 at Staples today. I like it very very much. Looks pretty and keyboard is nice too.

    Looks better than the M1530.

Only thing I didnt like about the Studio 15 is that the 2 USB port is at the lower right which is in the way of my right mouse.

From what I have been told by Dell customer service, at least concerning the Studio 15 i ordered on July 15th, "From what I can see this model computer has a delay. Unfortunately I do not have a specified reason or a new estimated date"

That kinda sucks for anyone trying to LOVE their new Studio 15.
PS. I'm forced to sit here on my mom's desktop and continue to check my order status everyday lol.
