Give or take... how much would DVI out and gigE add to the cost?

I'm transferring files to my new E1505, and... seriously, wtf is with the 10/100 ethernet? It's 2006. My laptop has a 160GB hard drive, and I have to suffer with 10/100 ethernet? Really, that is weakness. This is going to take all night.

Also, I have 2 sweet DVI external LCDs, but me lappy has VGA analog out. Again, DVI just does not seem all that expensive, and is definitely the more forward looking technology.

I almost got the E1705 just for the DVI out, but, just did not want a 17" and besides, it had that 20th century ethernet as well.

Dell, get with it. It's the small things sometimes...
