    Glossy Screen Pealing?

    If i get the Dell Inspiron 1720 with the 1920 x 1200 Glossy Screen would it peal the glossy coating off? Has anyone ever heard of the glossy coating pealing off the screen?

    Uh, no. Pretty sure the glossyness comes from the fact that they put a piece of glass over the LCD, so doubt you could peel it off.

    Maybe he just didn't realize the screen had a protective plastic sheet on it, and that peeled off. ;) I would actually bet that that is the case.

    Yes that is what he mean the Inspiron 1720 does not have one so it will not peel you should be fine ;)
