    Looks like you got Matte.

    TrueLife is glossy.

Matte is fine though. NO reflections at all. WSGA+ is a nice native resolution for that size as well. I may have went for the UXGA if it were not glossy.

I wipe my screens down with a wet rag now and then. Glossy scratches easily.

    Matte is not bad.

I'm having issues doing graphics with my glossy screen since they looks pretty different on other screens.

I have the 160GB 5400rpm and it's fine. The larger drives have higher density platters, so that helps some. After you open Photoshop, it's open.

I prefer glossy after using it but matte aint so bad, plus the 1440x900 pixel resolution will be easier to see your icons

Does anyone know of a review of the e1705 with the matte wxga screen? All i can find are reviews of the WUXGA with TrueLife.

I'm working a lot with Photoshop so i need a good screen that is not glossy. The e1705 would have the specs that want, but i have to be sure that the screen is very good before spending so much money. What are your experiences?

    Thanks a lot:

    Tom

I'm finding that it's hard to work with colors using a glossy screen.

Subtle things like, if I make a brown... it can look a little more red on other screens. Things like that. Be prepared to mess with some color calibration.

also in bright light the gloss is really $crewed up, but generally it gives a much more vibrant look.
