    Personally i would get the 1520 instead of the 1521 because it has the core 2 duo chip which is much faster than the amd one in that laptop. Also it has integrated video. Just as a reference, i got my laptop for 699 which has a dedicated graphics upgrade, and upgrade lcd pannel over that laptop.

    So i would say, no its not a great deal, but its not a "huge" rip off either. I think 650-699 would be a more fair price for it (you pay for best buy being the middle man and the convenience of buying it and bring it home same day vs waiting for it to be built and shipped).
