    Do u guys think i got a good deal?

    for 1500-1600 ( i forgot) lol

    do u think that was a good deal?

    WUXGA on a 15.4" screen, you must have very good eyes.

    The poorer your eyes the more helpful a HD screen is. More pixels per inch are always better for the eyes, for any given image size. WUXGA does not give small fonts - incorrectly configured software does. Nothing beats hardware WUXGA once the software is properly setup...other than WQXGA...

    For everyday use on a screen that size I'd go WSXGA.

    I'd have to turn up the DPI to make it readable so SXGA make more sense for me.

    not really, if you wait for a dell coupon you could build that yourself on their website and get it for a lot cheaper, heres my system im going to order with a coupon

    1.73ghz Pentium M
    17" Truelife widescreen
    512mb ram
    80gb HD
    GeForce Go6800 256mb video card
    ..for $1250

    ...so no i dont think thats a very good deal

    the 9 cell, bluetooth, MCE, tv tuner, remote, were what costed more, just that total is like 250 right there.

    where did you get the $750 off? i wasnt aware there was a 750 coupon going on right now, other than that, dont get the WUXGA LCD, a 15inch is way to small for that type of screen, it will be hard on your eyes to read text.
