Good Deal on 1705?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I just bought my first laptop for college. I was hoping you could offer your thoughts and opinions as to how this laptop looks to you as well as how good it is for the price. That is a pretty reasonable price. I paid about $1400 for mine back in December, but I only got the T7200 CPU. I did get a 3 year warranty though. What sort of warranty did your 1705 come with? Enjoy the computer because the video card is better than anything Dell currently offers on the Inspiron line.

 

Joseyu, thats a great deal. I got the 1 year warranty as I plan to upgrade once I start the co-op program at my university. Also, I've heard about the incredible overclocking potential of the 1705's 7900 GS. Im looking forward to testing that out

 

I got a better deal on the new 1720. However, I did use the $350 coupon and got a $100 compensation.
