This after taxes (13% ;) comes to $2000 CAD

I am just wondering if this is a good enough deal, because I need to decide whether to buy by tomorrow.

Also I am not eligible for the epp discount and apparently you guys maxed out the $350 off coupon because dell said they had reached their quota on it.

    Reached their quota??

Try again. I just did online and it accepted the $350 disc (albeit on the 1720)

    Good luck

If you are dead set on getting the 1520, I think to save some money you should downgrade to the T7300, which will be just as good. Also, if you want to save some money, buy 1GB from Dell and buy 2GB (2x1GB) sticks from www.newegg.com

You sure you don't want a DVD burner? They are pretty useful these days.

Personally, if you don't get discounts or anything, DELL IS NOT THE WAY TO GO.

You should really look into Sager or Asus to save some money and get better value.

You should fill out the FAQ so we know what you need better.

However, I don't think you should get the 1520, especially with no discounts.

well I need the laptop for gaming mostly, but my cap is $2000 CAD with taxes and shipping so if another brand is similar then thats ok, I have a DVD burner in my server desktop at home and I am planning getting an external hard drive for extra storage.

newegg is not an option because they don't ship to Canada

If you guys could recommend something from any other company that would be great, the biggest problem is shipping from a US is the cost + duties on purchase.

I wanted a DirectX 10 graphics card equal or greater than the 256MB NVIDIA ®GeForce™8600M GT
