I just ordered a similar machine...here are my thoughts on the differences between your configuration and mine. These are obviously my opinions which will likely differ from yours.

The $120 price difference between the 60GB 7200rpm HDD and the 80GB was too high for me to justify.

Same with the $240 3yr extended warranty.

Same with the $119 damage protection.

I find that instead of spending $99 to get the large primary battery, I would rather keep the smaller primary battery and spend $129 to get a large additional battery.

Again, my priorities are different than yours. If you value the extended warranties, then by all means go with them.

Here's what I ordered for comparison...

    Base Price: $949
    Upgrades (see below): $1061
    Total: $2010
    -$750 coupon code M$0BPCBGXQH6TR
    - $35 coupon code from ebay

You can always buy the warranty later on - but you should make sure of the terms.
I plan to sell mine before one year passes, so I don't care for warranties - three years is such a commitment, technology will have changed by then - also, things will go 64bit. I will not care for 64bit until at least a year from now, when things have stabilized - so for now, I'm very excited to get my E1505 :D:dell:

Near the end of checkout at the payment stage, you can choose from several methods. One of them is paying with 2 credit cards. Though Im not sure if it would work with 1 cc and 1 debit.

I believe you can pay with 2 credit cards. The thing they will not let you do is pay with their preferred account and a credit card. I don't get why they won't let you...kinda sucks because I wanted to get a higher end comp and they said they couldn't do that. :(

Well I finally ordered it yay!

I went ahead and stuck with the 3 yr warranty - the international warranty comes with it and I'll be taking the notebook to australia this year when I study abroad so it was a must for me.

It does stink that you can't use the pref dell card with a 2nd credit card so I had to drop the processor down one to the T2400 but I've been assured I won't notice a performance change with my usage and it saved me $200.

Now I just have to wait until April 13th for it to ship

    Thanks for all the help!!
