I absolutely do NOT want to scratch this beautiful screen but it gets so much dust and fingerprints on it, what is something safe I can use?
And if dust is on the screen when I'm trying to rub fingerprints out will that scratch it?

I have a good one for my Asus 1000HE, it's like with a lot of squares on it, almost like very very very tiny pyramids

Computer stores sell cloths made for LCD monitors. I've never had an issue with those. Any microfiber cloth should work, though.

A real good deal on microfiber cloths. I love these things. I use them to clean all my screens. Great for dusting too.

If you have glasses your optometrist most likely gave you a microfiber cloth with which to clean those glasses. I have several and they double as my screen cleaners. Using 'em is a fairly cheap and effective solution if you ask me :)

Try not to use your hands...The microfiber cloth is the best to clean! ;)

Gentle pressure! When I have spots or anything on my screen, I gently blow my own air on it..and clean with a m.fiber cloth in a circular motion! Without too much pressure. Works great for me!

    Cin ;) :)

Touching it to get rid of dust probably won't damage anything, but it will leave greasy fingerprints on the display, and most people don't want that.

Microfiber is definitely the way to go . . . won't smudge or leave a trace of itself when you clean carefully.

For more stubborn smudges, use a little bit of water, just enough to get it damp. wipe off the smudge, then hit it with the dry part of the cloth. I do this once in awhile, and it looks good as new!

So those from walmart etc aren't going to hurt the screen at all (from a cheap quality for example)?

I was also thinking of the monster stuff at best buy

    thanks

If you get any lcd cleaner kit they include one of those microfiber cloths. They're really great at cleaning screens.
