    • 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms) 1GB2D
    • High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1440x900) & 2MP Camera
    • 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
    • 120GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
    • Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD/CD read/write)
    • Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition
    • Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card
    • 56 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
    • 1Yr In-Home Service, Parts Labor,24x7 Phone Support
    • Finger Print Reader

With the deal dell has right now, it prices out to 1199. I figured I would just buy more RAM and a different HDD on my own. Not real knowledgeable when it comes to laptops, is this a good price for the specs? Appreciate any input. Thanks...

Yeah, i would say thats a pretty good deal. I would remove the Audigy Software though, its a waste of money. Everything else looks good.
