    I have no CPU noise,clicking, or whining. The spring green case has no scratches in it. I just tried out my head phones and I have zero noise. I was expecting the worse. I am very happy. Looks like dell is starting to get a handle on the situation.

    Hmm what about the grainy screen isssues ? You notice any grainness on your screen ?

    The only issue i have with my 1520 is headphone noise...other than that no complaints. I wish though that dell had a more secure AC plug on the back cuz when I dont have my battery in it shuts down frequently.

    No theyre not getting a handle..theyve still got no idea like they told me bout the headphone noise..its just you were lucky for some reason :p

    The screen is the 1680x1050. I am not sure who the screnn is made by, but it appears to be 100%. no dead pixals, no bleed I can tell of. How can i figure out who the screen is made by?
