    Got a few PICS of my Brand New M1530!!!

    Maybe this isn't the right place to ask this, but I just ordered my 1530 on Sunday and I'm wondering if I should have ordered the TV Tuner. Here is a pic from Dell's site:

    What I'm wondering is where on the laptop would this stick out? I looked at your pics and I can't figure out where this would fit and if it would be all sticking out somewhere. Anybody know?

    the Dell website states: "TV Tuner Card, Combo Analog/Digital External USB"
    You see the wrong picture. The picture shows a PCI TV tuner card.
    (I don't know though what kind of TV tuner card they should ship.)

    i believe it is a USB tv turner from ATI.

    on all the photos on dells website for me it says sample image only

    Thanks for the replies. So it's external, which means I can just get one at any time if I decide I need it, right? That's good to know.

    i just slipstreamed the vista Intel Matrix Storage Manager - Notebooks DRVR
    xp-vista_7.5.0.1017
    Drivers onto a XP installation cd & it worked so far I am almost done installing!
    Used this guide

    installation of Xp took all of 25 min. checking everything right now

    my auto login did now work so i just went in as admit and deleted my old account

    are you talking about deleting ur vista account?

    i have a prob with my desktop that when i log in, it still shows my old xp account so i have to baby it and wait for this screen to pop up and thenchoose which os i want to use. of cours the xp doen't work any more cause the os is long gone. just annoying. do you know how to get rid of that?

    no on my slipstream I had an account made for me, and it didnt want to login so i just logged in as adminstrator.

    i forgot to add stuff like windows picture viewr & sounds & stuff from following that guide to make it as streamline install as possible so oops on my part
